Viewing the mountains

September 25, 2005 By Al Martine

So many projects and opportunities; so little time.  This riff isn’t really about now; it’s a forecast about later.

The programme office keeps telling us about how busy we’re going to be from October onward.  I looked at our schedule and glanced at a few of the subject requirements and it looks pretty intense.

I say this after having studied since 10.30 am today because I fell behind in statistics.  Nothing huge but it has served as a warning.

The balance between academics, social and networking appears to be delicate.  Sign up for too many clubs and there’s no time to study; overly focus on studying and it leaves the MBA looking empty.  I’m glad these thoughts are coming now rather than when I’m behind, lonely or stuffed.
