Okay, before rambling on about my favorite second language a couple questions … first, what is the Blogger Beta and why does it look similar (read: the same) as regular blogger? I think they are gearing up to move most of Blogger’s functionality to Writely (if this happens you read it here first), but keep seeing the Beta login.
And since, I’m on this subject line why is blog always misspelled in the Blogger spell checker?
The first week of classes (was this really a week?) are now complete and it doesn’t have the intensity of the first year. Or, well any year. I guess showing up in the middle of the week with jetlag and my mind on this (UK term) bloody Spanish has kept me distracted from the actual MBA classes. You know, the classes I’ll actually use when I’m in business.
I met with the evaluator of my language exam yesterday and was fairly surprised by my exam. When I spoke with the head of the LBS programme for Kings on Thursday it sounded like I did a terrible job on my exam, but it was pretty good. Apparently, I didn’t answer in a complex enough way. Had I used “and, or, …” or some other conjunction this BS may be over.
I took a very basic strategy on the exam. Instead of trying to get complex, I relied on the basics aiming for accuracy but that apparently wasn’t a good one thus earning me the return trip on Monday. The weekend is filled with studying for “that class that shall not be named” and organising work area. I’d like to find my gym and school locker keys as well. They are out there, I just need to find them.
