Tonight, rather than heading out for a second straight night – I’ve decided to get caught up on some house keeping chores. Some are personal, while others are dedicated to finding my way through the web of NYU legacy websites.
All the sites are similar but have some special function. For instance, I now how two email addresses. One is for NYU, the other for the business school – Stern. I’ve successfully forwarded one to the next, which then immediately rushing them to my London school account. I fought the urge to set the two to forward to each other fearing the ensuing electronic chaos would get me off to on the wrong foot but our gracious hosts.
I’ve found my rooms and locker. These came courteously of another website, but that information couldn’t be found on the same site that houses (or should if the profs actually updated it) all the information on our courses.
There’s some really clever stuff on this site – it’s just a shame they are all sitting on separate servers without any true data sharing. Oh well, if that’s the least of my worries than it’ll be a good term.
