My First Real Day

January 30, 2007 By Al Martine

My first real day of the Spring Semester occurred today. I’ve read numerous articles, applied for a second year project (thanks for absolutely nothing Opera Consulting) and planned my week.

I haven’t been in class since last Wednesday, but have been reading some and staying current. Well, sort of. I’m currently experiencing problems getting myself back into the groove of actually doing work. There is something really appealing about laying on the couch and watching television. Some see this as a nightmare. For me, bliss.

This week is catch-up with friends from Infosys week. Yesterday, a trip uptown to 107th and Broadway to see Stan and his wife. Tomorrow, cheese-steak subs with Hugh (and maybe Stan). I’m hoping to catch-up with Simon and Rachael in the near future.

You’ll notice that I’m slowly getting moved into my new blog location. The combination of WordPress and Windows Live Writer is awesome. They even work well together when it comes to categories. Very, very cool.
