I had some of the best times in my college life running the football to and from
pit Pitt. In fact, my time with APO helped shape my personality and personal objectives. I never knew the relationship between Dan Torisky and Myron Cope but knowing it makes me more of a Steelers Fan.
Dan always took care of Lambda Omicron chapter of Alpha Phi Omega and probably still does. This ESPN story is about how the Terrible Towel is a part of Steeler Nation as well as helping care for those who need the support.
Myron’s love of his children was unsurpassed and he was so excited that he came up with the idea to donate it to the school and leave a legacy for his son," Champ said. "Not only his son, but all his son’s friends and all the people we care for here at the Allegheny Valley School."
Daniel Torisky founded the Autism Society of Pittsburgh, along with Cope, with the $400 in royalties the Terrible Towel earned Cope in its first year.
