One of the all-time great American radio broadcasters passed way. Paul Harvey was 90.
Before Rush Limbaugh or Larry King there was Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story.” He pioneered what was to become broadcast news in the US with topical and sometimes unusual stories from America’s heartland and around the world.
Often on AM radio, Paul Harvey was a voice of yesterday that was very much relevant and appreciated today. A true sign of greatness.
I remember listening to Paul Harvey as I grew up, often on my grandmother’s AM radio, and still enjoyed his shows on my drives to work.
America lost a great one today – he’ll be missed.
