Oops–Be Careful on what you say in an open forum like Twitter

I logged into Twitter a moment ago and found a BP “promoted Tweet” which said “In 2011, 81% of US energy demand was supplied by domestic sources. Up from all-time low of 70% in 2005.”  It is an interesting fact but what was more interesting was the public replies and re-tweets.  I can’t imagine this was the result they drew up on the PR brief.
