Readying for Launch

January 16, 2009 By Al Martine

The website and blog are all coming together rather nicely.  The entire site runs on WordPress, which is an open source blogging and content management system.  It’s fairly unimportant in the grand scheme of things, but what it does mean is that our foundation’s website will be able to grow and develop without the constant […]

A New Twist on an Old Tune

January 16, 2009 By Al Martine

BOY GEORGE Give me time To realise my crime Let me love and steal I have danced Inside your eyes How can I be real? Do you really want to hurt me Do you really want to make me cry Precious kisses, words that burn me Lovers never ask you why In my heart the […]

Where’d My MBA Go?

January 14, 2009 By Al Martine

I’ve forgotten almost all of it.  What the hell happened?  Too many drinks and … what was I saying? New Logo

Money

January 2, 2009 By Al Martine

I’m currently reading Moby Dick via dailylit.com.   It’s a relatively new site offering e-books e-mailed to a reader each day.  For instance, Moby Dick will be delivered to me through 260 emails.  I like the concept, but currently, I’ about 4 days behind in readings … My favorite quote so far: Again, I always go […]

T’was the Night Before Christmas

December 23, 2008 By Al Martine

Away to the window I flew like a flash, Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash. The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below, When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer … Pictures taken on […]
