Spyware seems to be getting more virus-like by the day. Microsoft gobbled up a little spyware company a few months ago and have released a free beta test version.

It seems to be good but must run on a schedule. The laptop comes on at different times every day so this feature is virtually useless. Found a solution though: setup a schedule in the XP scheduler (Control Panel) for it to start when you log in. You’ll still have the click the little button but it does provide a visual reminder.
Hopefully the next version will feature a more useful scheduler.
