Currently Australia is playing England in Cricket for what are known as the Ashes. For all you American folks here’s a some info on the Ashes. I have tried numerous times to understand Cricket but at last, nothing.
The one thing I do know is that I’m an Australia fan for this series because if England wins this darn thing we’ll (anyone in earshot) never hear the end of it. Cricket is the only thing I’ve ever watched that makes baseball seem fast paced. If those Cricket boys wore a glove they might not be so excited when they catch a fly ball. Or had a couple more bases to touch before scoring.
The game has to be more exciting to play than watch.
This post isn’t to criticize Cricket but to give my complete support to Australia’s team. Go Kangaroos! Koala’s? Platypus? Oh hell, I don’t know. Just remember, spikes up boys, spikes up.
