Wow, sucks for you. It’s a good thing that this “school zone” phenomenon is limited only to Plano, TX, and hasn’t cropped up around every single school district in the rest of the country. It’s also a good thing that these “school zones” have not been in existence anywhere in our lifetimes previously and are a revolutionary new idea.
I do agree and thank you for sharing my concern and outrage that I posted on my blog.
Unbelievable… I have no idea how you can live in a country like that …. :-))))
Glad to hear your voice.
Um. What did you say?! I’m curious…
Alissa's Cousin says
We have school zones in Australia as well!! At least you guys get to go 20mph we have to do 20kmph!!
And the best part about these school zones is that they were thinking at one stage about giving the schools authority to monitor speeds of vehicles in the area and issue infringement notices/fines!! There is more…. a portion of the money collected as a result of these fines was to go back to the school, could you imagine the amount of fines these school officials would be gunning for to get more funding for the school!!
Thank goodness someone saw reason and decided to leave it up to the police who in all honesty dont care at all!!
