The weather in Dallas is starting to turn cool (read- 50s) and it’s raining more often (read no longer required to pay for water on my grass), which implies that old man winter is finally coming to Texas. Granted, Texas winters are a lot like London summers but it’s not as nice as the spring and fall. Between the internal work for the firm and the somewhat dreary weather my attention is turning more and more to our upcoming trip to Australia.
Ah, Australia – warm breezes, great views of the ocean, Koala bears roaming the streets like dogs (they’ll just crawl into your lap if you’re in the park) … good times. The new found desire to implement big brother type web monitoring is a little concerning but the PM looks good on TV so it makes everything okay.
24 days until lift off
And around 39 days before Stuart and I build our Christmas tree with green and red bottles. I may even head out and find a little person to dress like an angel so we can put them on top of the tree. Hmm, I wonder if there’s a circus in town?
### Editors Note ###
Last month, I realized that sometimes when referencing locations I needed to put training wheels on my posts or some Mensa candidates willfully mark up their web printouts with propaganda.
Oz = Australia
Australia is not near Beckley, WV, as proof click here (please note the kayak across pacific portion.
Stuart says
Funnily enough the Circus will be around at that time of year… Will check if there is a “little” person involved…
